Technology Expert (m/f) Sensors

• Scouting of new technologies and trends in the area of sensors and sensor networks
• Evaluating these new technologies with regard to a possible use in lighting and building automation
• Developing the internal network and sharing know-how
• Establishing an external network with relevant experts and partners in industry and research
• Participation in technology road mapping processes
• Creating technology demonstrators / pilots
• Participation in / Managing of technology projects

• University diploma or PhD in electrical engineering or a related field in engineering / physics
• Sound professional experience in a similar position
• Experience in sensor technologies such as embedded camera sensors, color sensors, MEMS sensors in general.
• Skilled in pervasive sensing and related topics like energy harvesting and ultra-low power systems
• Ideally familiar  with building information modelling and building automation
• Fluent in English, both business and technical; German is a plus
• Open minded and willing to work on a broad array of new technologies, strong networking skills

The pay scale is based on the Collective Wage Agreement for the electronics and electrical engineering industry. The actual salary is determined on the basis of the relevant employment market and may be significantly higher than compensation payable under the Collective Wage Agreement.
