Team Lead Development (m/f/d)

As Team Lead Development (m/f/d) at Webgears Group you are responsible for the technical implementation of new features and solutions as well as the maintenance and further development of existing applications. You design technical solutions in cooperation with other departments and coordinate the developer team from a technical and administrative point of view. 

The Webgears Group successfully operates international Smart-Shopping Portals that reach more than ten million users each month. Our goal is to give our users access to vouchers and deals to provide them inspiration during their shopping process. This is achieved using an intelligent system to pair an extensive list of e-commerce brands on the sites of popular media companies. In addition to the deal communities mydealz and hotukdeals, digital US media brands such as CNET, The Daily Beast and boston.com, Glamour and The Sun in the UK or Welt, Bild and Computerbild in Germany rank amongst our partners.
 

Your Mission 

In this role, you work towards the best possible implementation of technical solutions in terms of long-term utilization and efficient resource allocation in development: 

• You are responsible for the development of software applications according to the project requirements, 

• You lead the development team and ensure the required quality standards of all developments, 

• You maintain the existing solutions and optimize them with respect to the business needs, 

• You work closely with the product owner to realize software projects together, 

• You evaluate and design new software projects (story points evaluation), 

• You implement, develop and test software applications, 

• You maintain and optimize our server architecture, 

• You are the contact person for all technical issues, 

• You troubleshoot and monitor existing applications.
