Your job

As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team at our lead plant in Dornbirn, you will be developing and testing manufacturing systems to ensure the Operations capability is aligned to the Zumtobel groups product and manufacturing strategies and enables the organization to be best equipped to cope with future business demands and its operating environment.
You are responsible for the design and construction of manual, semi-automated & fully-automated assembly lines, jigs and fixtures.
You are responsible for projects from start to finish, including the design concept, technological selection, detailed CAD design, project planning, costing and project execution.
In addition, you create specifications, check concepts and detailed solutions from suppliers and then approve them.

Your profile

You have a technical education (university, FH, HTL) in the field of engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification.
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field, whether in industry or an engineering office.
Your technical education is complemented by business knowledge and a strong competence in project and process management.
You have very good communication skills and experience in dealing with external suppliers and partners.
You have an affinity for IT and are proficient in the common MS Office programs. You also have advanced CAD knowledge in any of the main CAD programmes (Autodesk Inventor, Creo, Solidworks, Catia, Solidedge, NX). Windchill and SAP knowledge are advantageous.
Very good English and German skills complete your profile.
