Senior Design Engineer (m/f/x)

Your job

You are responsible for the development and design of innovative lighting solutions and luminaires.
You will support our development projects from the initial idea through prototypes to detailed mechanical design.
You will push existing, but also promote new production technologies for technical designs.
You maintain an overview of the entire product, including “selection engineering” and “requirements engineering”.
In addition, you check and analyse the feasibility and profitability of planned product developments.
You work in an interdisciplinary way and take over the technical evaluation of in-house and third-party products.
You plan, control and lead small development projects by your own.

Your profile

You have a technical education (HTL, FH, Uni) in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a similar field of specialisation.
You have at least 5 years of design experience in new product development as well as a profound knowledge of the software 3D-CAD.
You are enthusiastic about various production technologies and materials.
You are a team player and convince personally by your flexible applicability as well as your self-confident and correct appearance.
You like to think out of the box and implement your visions with the necessary hands-on mentality.
In international projects you convince with your good English skills.
