About the job

Supply Planning Manager is responsible for creating an end-to-end supply plan in short & mid- term horizon considering demand and supply constraints. Furthermore, operational purchasing activities for external manufacturers within the Consumer Goods portfolio. Holding this position, you will report directly to the Head of Supply Planning Jewelry External & Writing Instruments and your main duties will be the following:

  • Interact between the supply chain and demand functions to provide our customer with the right products at the right place at the right time

  • Secure optimal planning accuracy and make sure that tools for planning, reporting and documentation are in place and working properly

  • Establish professional relationships with Supply Chain Management teams, Sales & Operation Planning and central functions within Consumer Goods Business and make sure that demand and supply planning are in sync

  • Monitor the development of inventory stock levels at regional distributions centers for respective product portfolio and take actions accordingly (identify the potential for: shift in / shift out / cancellation) 

  • Ensure that planning inputs are delivered on time and in the right quality

  • Provide in due time transparency about possible bottlenecks in our supply chain

  • Main communication language is English


About you

We are looking for a motivated talent, who brings preferably along the following background:  

  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain would be beneficial

  • Strong problem-solving skills as well as Advanced MS Office know how (especially Excel & Outlook)

  • Analytical skills and think outside of the box approach

  • Presentation and communication skills 

  • Fluent English

  • Team orientation, ability to deal with pressure and capability to stay calm and focused

  • Good supply chain management understanding, project and process management skills would be an asset
