As Project Engineer with focus Smart Production you support your regional colleagues in implementing Corporate Smart Production solutions in our global operations on site.

• Together with your colleagues you are in charge of the international roll out of our Smart Production and digitalization solutions for our operations in order to foster Operational Excellence.

• In these implementation projects you will provide system-related trainings, create lean workflows for employees in the regions, test and validate IT solutions in MES, ER and BI systems and will facilitate to sustain the implemented Smart Production systems.

• You will ensure an optimal project preparation in terms of technical and organisation readiness of our manufacturing sites and through professional project coordination between regional and corporate IT and manufacturing sparing partners

• You will contribute to our manufacturing sites’ efforts in striving for operational excellence by identifying potentials for improvement and supporting them in the execution of optimization projects.

• Your daily tasks include interaction with employees on all management levels.

• At corporate level you support the development and digitalisation of the Smart Production applications in order to increase the operational performance.

• University degree (bachelor or master) in Information technology, Business Informatics, Process Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Management

• Process Management skills and knowledge in Industry 4.0 with focus manufacturing and logistics, Digital Management and Transformation or Operations Controlling as well as excellent analytical and methodical competencies

• Work experience in manufacturing of advantage

• Very good skills in MS Office, skills in MS SQL queries, Python, Power BI of advantage

• Strong skills in problem solving, communication, trainings and agile working

• Excellent English and German language skills, other languages are of advantage

• Entrepreneurial thinking and project-oriented working

• Passion for operational excellence

• High willingness to travel (up to 75%)
