IT System Administrator

For our global ICT team we are looking for a bright and dynamic IT Administrator, who would enjoy managing our infrastructure. Your playfield will be our global outsourced datacenter, local IT environments in Teknos countries and an increasing number of cloud services. You would not only operate complex IT systems and ensure constant availability, but also further develop them as part of change management, in line with requirements and in an economical manner.
 

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Installation and support of operating systems for Teknos locations
• Organizing the running of hardware and software including automatic updates and backups and further support for the users
• ​​​​​​​System error analyses and troubleshooting, developing guidelines and new technical concepts for system operation
• ​​​​​​​Administration of Active Directory and GPO
• ​​​​​​​Assisting in IT projects
• ​​​​​​​Maintaining documentation (operational processes, change plans)
• ​​​​​​​O365/Azure service and maintain
• Performing rollouts, trainings and supporting local IT teams
• ​​​​​​​Data protection and backup
• ​​​​​​​Maintaining efficient and safe networks in use, network fundamentals (Firewall, VLAN etc.)
• ​​​​​​​IT Security (Cyber Security, Endpoint)

Key skills and qualifications:

• Several years of work experience in a similar role within a complex business environment and educational background in IT
• Ability of working independently and under pressure while analysing complex problems and customer inquiries around IT products and systems, developing problem solutions and driving their implementation
• Hands-on approach and open-minded personality as you will be operating in a global, dynamic environment
• Experience in realization of software projects according to customer requirements and to providing end user trainings
• Excellent verbal and written English
• With this international position, your readiness to travel is there
• You are located in one of Teknos European countries, preferably Finland, Sweden, Germany or Liechtenstein
