As Head of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) you will work within our international HR team and be a true partner for the global business. You will lead the conceptualization, design and evaluation of our compensation systems, structures and processes. Together with one employee (located in Nis, Serbia), you actively shape our short- and mid-term C&B roadmap. Therefore, you will have a decisive impact within the organisation. The position is ideally based in Dornbirn and you will directly report to the SVP of Global HR. 


Your Job

  • In this role you are responsible for all C&B topics internally and externally, hence you evaluate, design, support and implement systems and tools.  

  • You have the overall responsibility for the annual global salary review and the short- and long-term incentive cycles, including analysis, budgeting, communication, guidance and final budget control. 

  • You are the expert for Grading (Job evaluation) and Grading governance, proficient in Grading methods (Mercer IPE preferrable). 

  • You initiate and lead C&B projects with the aim to constantly improve programs, policies and -processes.  

  • With your winning and empathetic character as well as strong communication skills you convince people on all levels of the organization to accept new concepts and practices in order to appear on the global market as an attractive employer.  

  • You cooperate closely with HR-controlling to generate valuable insights to act upon and to further develop regarding HR KPI’s, Reporting, Workforce Planning, Target Setting and Organisational Management.  

  • You are the first point of contact and sparring partner for all questions concerning C&B. Hence you cooperate and interface - from board to sales directors in all countries, with various internal departments and regions among various professional groups. 

  • You train, support and consult stakeholders, as well as management, on all C&B matters with a sound understanding of the cultural values, dynamics and practices of different countries and regions. 

 

Your profile 

Your outstanding analytical mindset, your experience in C&B on a strategic as well on a operational level, combined with your strong business acumen and your excellent communication skills make you to the perfect fit for this position! 

  • Aligned to that you have successfully completed a university degree. 

  • You have a successful proven track record and passion for C&B and 3+ years of professional experience in C&B (or Finance & Controlling with a strong HR-background or anything comparable) within an international production industry including sales, ideally with first leadership experience. 

  • You have extraordinary interpersonal skills and a gift to present complex topics in a simple and comprehensive way aligned to your target group. 

  • You shine due to your statistical skills and your easy way to explain it combined with a strong understanding of legal, tax and social insurance and their impact on C&B on an international level. 

  • Your advanced project management skills, your conscientious, accurate and structured way of working with focus on diligence, discretion, integrity and a high quality enables you to accomplish your goals in this complex, dynamic, ad-hoc business environment.  

  • You are fluent in English, as well as in German, both written and spoken. 

  • Finally, you are an execution-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills and a down to earth personality who loves to join a great team with the freedom to make an impact – and build a career you’re proud of.

Legally binding notice: Based on the minimum salary stipulated in the collective agreement of € 73.678,78- /p.a. (for a 38,50-hour working week), the actual salary for this position is based on professional qualifications and experience.
