Your responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced leadership personality with a strong commercial and technical background. As Country Manager you will be fully responsible for our 5 production plants in Turkey, delivering a strong sales strategy, driving the business development and efficiency of our operations.

• You are fully responsible for all commercial and operational activities at ALPLA Turkey including Sales, Purchasing, HR, Finance and Operations.
• You represent the company towards the external partners and public authorities and you are responsible for the compliance with the regulatory framework.
• You are closely aligned with our Regional Management Team in all regards and together you implement the company strategy on country level and you ensure that all employees are aligned with the company’s objectives.
• You are responsible for budgeting and KPI planning, especially in terms of capacity and investment planning as well as profit and loss reporting.
• You maintain customer relationships and you proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs to optimize revenue, quality and customer service.
• You drive business development and contribute to the identification of commercial opportunities.
• You provide guidance for the Sales Team in negotiations of large agreements as needed.
• You are responsible for operational performance to enhance and continuously improve all operational processes.
• You provide leadership, you support personnel planning and the development of your whole team.

Your competencies and qualifications

• Completed technical or commercial education (university level or similar)
• Several years of experience in a senior management role in an international production company, preferably in FMCG, plastic manufacturing or related industry
• Proven track of leading people, strong team player who is able to lead, guide and develop the team members
• Excellent relationship building skills and communication skills in German, English and Turkish
• Problem solving skills as well as a high grade of flexibility
• Willingness to travel and cultural sensitivity
