Codes and Approvals Engineer (m/f/x)​

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to drive product differentiation within our Direct Fastening portfolio through cutting-edge solutions, building codework, approvals, and technical consulting, all while upholding Hilti AG's high standards of excellence.

This full-time position is available as soon as possible. No travel required.

What You’ll Do

You will play a critical role in obtaining and maintaining local and international approvals and certifications for our portfolio of direct fastening solutions. You will also be responsible for creating, releasing, and maintaining technical data for Direct Fastening systems, based on global data and in accordance with local needs and practices.

You will support our customers’ inquiries by providing technical support and application consulting for Direct Fastening solutions to the Hilti organizations worldwide. 

Working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative hardware and software solutions, derived from our strategic and day-to-day activities.

What You’ll Bring

• Master degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar
• More than 3 years of relevant experience in design, construction, research or similar areas, ideally related to fastening systems
• Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, with a solid understanding of product approvals
• Team oriented attitude with excellent communication skills to manage diverse international stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in English;, German is plus
