For a new position at Tridonic in Dornbirn we are looking for a

Head of Global Software Testing & Approval (m/f)

The successful candidate will manage the Software (SW) testing and approvals for products from our global R&D to ensure that all standards and specifications are met. As Head of Global SW Approval your main tasks are:

• Strategic decisions making about new test methods/-technologies, test automation and/or external testing
• Improving test processes and driving quality of testing
• Managing and leading a global team across the organization
• Balancing and optimizing time, quality and costs among the testing & approval process globally
• Budget, headcount and investment planning

• Degree in IT or technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years professional SW testing experience and/or SW development and in leading cross functional teams
• Excellent in English, every other language a benefit (german)
• Familiarity with communications protocols (Dali, ZigBee, Bluetooth, TCP/IP, SNMP, GSM,..) are a plus
• ISTQB qualification (advanced level or above) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate an ability to think analytical, work organized, while creating solutions in an effective & efficient, workable form
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
